The brief
Alice had outgrown a site built years ago. Her work now is directing, performing and leading her own walks in London and Naples, and she has started writing on Substack. The new site has to say who she is in one screen, show what she is making now, pull in her latest Substack note automatically, and let her update it from her phone between rehearsals.
What we built
- Redesign around her own sketch: Projects (present and past), Interests, Calendar, Get connected
- Latest Substack note shown on the homepage automatically
- “This month” note she can edit from her phone
- Calendar of walks and shows, hidden when nothing is on
- One photo, one name and one bio across the site, Substack and Instagram — for name recognition on Google
- A separate one-page site for her theatre project, project1979
