Tracking plan
A written list of the actions worth measuring and what each one means, agreed before anything is built.
Analytics
Most GA4 setups we inherit cannot answer the only question that matters: how many enquiries came in, and where from. Sessions and bounce rate are recorded faithfully. Whether the phone rang is not.
We set it up the other way round, starting from the actions that mean money — a form submitted, a call over thirty seconds, a WhatsApp message, a booking — and configuring Tag Manager so each is recorded reliably and only once. Consent is handled so the tracking respects your cookie banner, and we tell you plainly what you can and cannot measure once someone declines. Then we connect it to Google Ads and Search Console, so paid and organic can be judged on the same definition of a lead rather than two that disagree.

Start a project ↗What you get
A written list of the actions worth measuring and what each one means, agreed before anything is built.
Set up around those actions, with events that fire once and are named consistently.
Phone taps, WhatsApp and chat recorded, so offline enquiries are not invisible.
Configured to respect your cookie banner, with an honest account of what that costs you in data.
Ads and Search Console linked, so paid and organic are judged on the same definition of a lead.
How it works
Decide which actions are conversions for your business before touching the tooling.
Build it in Tag Manager, then test every event in preview mode before publishing.
Check the numbers against real enquiries for a fortnight, because a tag that fires is not the same as a tag that is right.

Proof
No web presence at all to a top-three local pack position in three months, with Ads leads arriving at £3.50 to £5 and work coming in through ChatGPT.
FAQ
Usually. The common faults are conversions that fire on page load and no distinction between a form and a phone tap. Both are fixable without starting again.
Yes. We configure consent mode so tracking respects the choice, and we will tell you how much data you lose when people decline.
Taps on a phone number, yes, out of the box. Full call tracking with recordings needs a third-party service, which we can set up if the volume justifies the cost.
They measure different things and frequently disagree. Getting both onto one definition of a lead is usually where this pays for itself.
